happenings in space is a curation of virtual events that intersect discourses in art, design, space, place, landscape and environment. the newsletter is motivated by our own research interests in contemporary art and spatial and environmental justice, and the often amorphous interdisciplinary spaces and sources in which that research dwells.

bringing together lectures, film series, panels, online exhibitions and other virtual conversations across and external to disciplines and institutions, happenings in space seeks to collect, archive and make accessible the unprecedented opportunities for virtual gathering.

this newsletter is curated by topozone, a graduate research collective run by raechel root and joseph sussi at the university of oregon, exploring intersections of art, geography, space and environment.
